Room Parent
The Room
Parents in each classroom are a great resource for teachers and new
parents. Room Parents coordinate social
activities for families/parents outside of school and organize class
special occasions.
Teacher Appreciation Committee
Members of this committee are charged with recognition of
the teachers at UUM throughout the year.
Historically, the committee has provided a light breakfast for the
teachers once a month and organized an end-of-the-school-year luncheon. They work closely with the Room Parents to
solicit contributions to cover the costs of a holiday gift and
end-of-school-year luncheon expenses.
Fun Fair Committee
This committee is charged with the planning and execution of
the February Fun Fair held at the school.
The Fun Fair is family favorite event where children can play carnival
games, get their faces painted and have a great time. The Fun Fair is set-up in the upstairs Dining
Room and volunteers help with Friday set-up, staffing the games during the fair
(30 minute shifts), and clean-up.
